We exist to ensure these families are seen, honored, and supported—not overlooked.
Through the Green Star initiative, we are working to extend the American service banner tradition and establish a new symbol of recognition for a loss that has gone unacknowledged for far too long.
Our mission is driven by three core priorities:
Recognition
Advancing awareness and federal acknowledgment of families impacted by Veteran suicide.
Advocacy
Supporting legislative efforts, including H.R. 6022, to formalize the Green Star as a national designation.
Connection
Creating space for families to share their stories, feel seen, and be part of a broader community.
