
Melissa Singer is a 28-year military Veteran who served full time in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, retiring in August 2020 as a Senior Human Resources Non-Commissioned Officer. Following her retirement, she has continued her commitment to serving service members, Veterans, and military families across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In her professional and advisory roles, Melissa works closely with military leadership and individuals statewide, helping them understand and access the federal, state, and local benefits they have earned through service. Her work is grounded in advocacy, education, and practical guidance for military-connected families navigating complex systems.
A two-time overseas deployer, Melissa has witnessed firsthand the long-term impacts of military service, including the devastating effects of suicide within the military community. These experiences inform her deep commitment to ensuring that surviving family members receive recognition, advocacy, and support with dignity and respect. Her work reflects a lifelong dedication to honoring service and strengthening military families.
